Что то общее между ABAP и VBA?

Добрый день.
Вопрос к специалистам, имеющим представление о микрософтовском VBA.

Есть ли какие нибудь аналогии между методами, объектами, запросами и др. между ABAP и VBA?

Как минимум вижу общее - это применение SQL, что еще?

Сорри, отвечаю вопросом на вопрос, а зачем Вам это? Как я уже писал, ABAP в отличие от VBA скорей не полноценный язык программирования, а расширение языка SQL. Как PL/SQL в Oracle или T/SQL в MSSQL.

Имею небольшой опыт программирования в VBA. При внедрении PM на ABAP не переходил (и даже не видел кода). Но на следующей неделе в помощь нам прибудет специалист ABAP, хотелось бы используя аналогии м/у VBA и ABAP лучше объяснять, понимать и...кто его знает...попробовать.

Это обнадеживает), т.к. SQL применяется в VBA, особенно в приложениях на его основе (Access).

Не подскажите пару ссылок, где можно посмотреть например аналогии м/у SQL, ABAP. Их терминология идентична?

Посмотрите по ссылке описание Open SQL. Open SQL is a set of ABAP/4 commands which perform operations on database tables.
