Ошибка сохранения через modify

Процедура сохранения данных следующая -

Code:
FORM save .
  PERFORM save_data ON COMMIT.
  COMMIT WORK.
  CLEAR p_ch_app.

ENDFORM.                    " SAVE

*----------------------------------------------------------------------*
FORM save_data .
  DELETE FROM zmm038.
  PERFORM copy_tab_to_temp_tab
                        TABLES p_zmm038 itab_temp.

  MODIFY zmm038 FROM TABLE itab_temp.

  IF NOT sy-subrc IS INITIAL.
    MESSAGE e000 WITH 'Возникли ОШИБКИ во время сохранения информации'.
  ELSE.
    MESSAGE s000 WITH 'Данные сохранились УСПЕШНО!'.
  ENDIF.
ENDFORM.                    " SAVE_DATA



В тестовом манданте, где в таблице около 15 записей, сохранение проходит благополучно.

В рабочем манданте в таблице 840 записей, граф 12-15.

Но вылетает дамп на строке (скриншот http://s007.radikal.ru/i300/1104/a5/d126ed774162.png)
MODIFY zmm038 FROM TABLE itab_temp.

Code:
When writing a data record to the database   (i.e.  when updating the database),  only part of the data field was written  (updated).  The rest was truncated.


Возможно ли обойти эту ошибку?

Вопрос закрыт

Поле в одной из записей выбивалась из своего типа данных. В тестовом манданте таких записей не было, поэтому ошибка не встречалась.
