Как удалить NULL символ из неNULL строки?

Мне надо сгенерить файл с данными из таблицы. Я выполняю запрос
SELECT DD07T~DOMNAME DD07T~DDLANGUAGE DD07T~AS4LOCAL
DD07T~VALPOS DD07T~AS4VERS DD07T~DDTEXT
DD07T~DOMVAL_LD DD07T~DOMVAL_HD DD07T~DOMVALUE_L
INTO (DD07T-DOMNAME, DD07T-DDLANGUAGE, DD07T-AS4LOCAL,
DD07T-VALPOS, DD07T-AS4VERS, DD07T-DDTEXT,
DD07T-DOMVAL_LD, DD07T-DOMVAL_HD, DD07T-DOMVALUE_L)
FROM DD07T

где DD07T-DDTEXT юникодовое поле длинной 60.
В одной из записей приходит крсивый такой текст с NULL значением где-то посередине и переводом строки. Ридер выдает ошибку: Row [96064]: 44-th character is a null character, which is not allowed in a text input file. Я думаю, что адрес этого NULL - hex_000D(2) type X value '000D'. Но replace all occurrences of hex_00AD in: x with hex_sp in byte mode. не срабатывает. Как мне заменить этот проклятый NULL на пробел?

Если позиция null известна, можно использовать CLEAR.

Code:
DATA: str(10) TYPE C VALUE '1234567890'.
CLEAR str+5(1) WITH NULL.
WRITE: / str.

CLEAR str+5(1) WITH SPACE.
WRITE: / str.
