Илья, вопрос не простой. MS Word имеет закрытый формат, поэтому доступ к содержимому возможен только через OLE интерфейс, предоставляемый Microsoft. Поэтому, если хотите написать универсальный метод чтения содержимого, необходимо изучать и использовать методы, предоставляемые OLE интерфейсом. Но надо учитывать, что разные включения в текст, например таблицы, картинки и тд. требуют своих методов.

Более простой способ - сохранить содержимое winword как txt и использовать GUI_UPLOAD для загрузки с рабочей станции или с сервера приложений, как указано в сообщении у John Doe.
