Добрый день!

Создал словарную таблицу. В теории таблица может содержать порядка 600 тысяч записей (4 размерность). Программно делаю вставку записей через INSERT <dbtab> from table <inttab>.

Вопросы:
1. Будет ли "INSERT <dbtab> from table <inttab>" выдавать ошибку если в какой то момент <dbtab> окажется заполнена максимальным числом записей? Если да, то как можно отловить ошибку.
2. Уменьшается ли быстродействие добавления строк с увеличением количества записей в таблице?
3. Может есть альтернативы получше, кроме как использовать INSERT ...

Буду очень благодарен за любые советы.
