Мне нужно сгружать данные из Excel, причем из одного столбца таблицы, который заранее не известен (его вводит пользователь). Пользователю же удобнее вводить букву (столбцы в Excel обозначены буквами). Функция для загрузки хочет получить номер столбца.
Подскажите пожалуйста, какой-нибудь простой способ преобразовать букву в число не делая огромного CASE.

Например так:

Code:
DATA: v_char.
FIELD-SYMBOLS: <fs> TYPE x.
DATA: v_int1 TYPE INT4.

v_char =  'z'.
TRANSLATE v_char TO UPPER CASE.
ASSIGN v_char TO <fs> CASTING TYPE X.
v_int1 = <FS>.

v_int1 = v_int1 - 65 + 1 . " 65 - код A

Write: / 'Char: ', v_char,
       / 'Int : ', v_int1.

2vga: в Excel могут быть 2-х буквенные ссылки Wink
поэтому определение номера столбца нужно сделать в цикле по каждому символу, а потом складывать.
